Organized and Simple: Â Menu Challenge Changes
Â
We’ve been planning our family supper menus for about 6 weeks.
I hope you are in the habit of weekend planning, then shopping for the week. You are saving time and money not making multiple trips to the store during the week! This week we’ll twist the challenge a bit. Since the temps are cooling off here in the South, you can spend more time outside in the garden or exercising. The challenge this week is tighten up your personal diet a bit. Here is the challenge:
- Eat only “identifiable” food this week- lean meats(chicken, fish, loin cuts of beef/pork), fresh steamed or sautéed veggies, fresh fruit
- no casseroles, they are not mandatory just because you are Southern (sorry Paula)
- 3 liters of water each day. buy a liter bottle at the store and fill it up 3 times, stick close to a bathroom
- find a substitute for dessert . sugar free jello, tapioca, pudding, etc.
Check out Clean Eating magazine at the grocery store or online.
see you
