Tomorrow concludes my daughter’s Sweet Sixteen birthday week. Â We will end with a luncheon on the porch with a few of her best friends and a couple of mine. Â The whole idea was more for me, but she has become excited about it, even ordered a new sundress-completely outside of her daily bohemian school wear!
I am going to use what I have–daffodils, forsythia, and Bells of Ireland. Fresh yellow and green for spring! Remember that daffodils secrete a substance that is harmful to other plants, so it’s best to arrange them by themselves.
I will give a little something to each guest. These tiny bud vases are perfect. Yellow and green are cheerful Easter combinations. So go out, grab your daffodils and forsythia while still in bloom and create a cheerful Easter or Spring tablescape!
Happy Spring & Happy Sweet Sixteen!
