Water is a given, but you can certainly grow berries, watermelon, veggies, garlic and nuts with ease. Why not grow these disease fighters in your back(or front) yard or community garden?
In the South, it would be wise to hold off planting the fruit trees until fall, but  you can  get started NOW on your garden for a healthy and age-kicking garden:
- Watermelon–EASY to plant from seed but give it plenty of room. Plant where your neighbors will walk by to watch the progress. They will wonder what that healthy vine is you planted.
- Cruciferous Veggies–broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, kale and Asian Greens such as bok choi. Look for transplants this month and next to get started for fall harvest, but find some bok or pac choi seeds at garden store or online to put in the ground NOW!
- Seeds— I certainly hope you are planting sunflowers this summer. Â Whack that beautiful head off, and let it dry in a safe dry place where the birds won’t beat you to it. Another plant that will give you healthy seeds is the pumpkin. Give pumpkins a shot this summer. The time is NOW!
So, drink a couple of 1.5 Liter bottles of water every day and focus on starting a garden that will not only spare you a pharmacy bill, but guide you to graceful aging!
see you
