There is so much going on with Mimi recuperating here, I was beginning to wonder if I would ever find that focus I’ve had for the past few years again! My new Facebook friend, Sandi Krakowski, inspired me this weekend to keep the focus, stay organized and determined. Today feels like a bright sun-shiny day! Yes, Jimmy Cliff sings that the rain is gone, and he can see all obstacles in the way. The initial thought of my mother being ill, living with us and no idea of the near future was overwhelming last week, but time and tons of prayer have lifted the clouds. The paths are a bit clearer, and I think we’ll make it!
Today we go to the lab for a blood draw, then an appointment with the doc on Thursday. Home Health physical therapy assessment completed on Friday, and should hear from them today about a 4 week schedule. Your cards and notes of prayer have been wonderful for mama. She is bored stiff and each card stimulates conversation about the sender. I am going to start a Life Interview Questions today with mama. My garden buddy, Pat Lanza, gives seminars about writing your memories, leaving your legacy.
Have you looked at your calendar this week? Check it out, fill it out. Plan your meals for the week, carve in your exercise time, rest time, reading time, etc. Â I am caring for Mimi here, but I am rounding up the troops to help. I don’t have to be the only one.
Enjoy your Sun-Shiny Day.
see you
