Two days away from home was perfect timing for flower harvesting, pumpkin checking, garden weeding, and a bit of cabin landscaping.
Here’s the accomplished list in short:
- pumpkin(pumps) seedlings up!
- buckets of beautiful zinnias, sunflowers & celosia cut
- weeds galore! hoe in hand.
- large lavender plant recovered from trash pile & planted near cabin

Both kids brought friends resulting in no whining. They swam in the “pool”, practiced
target(armadillo) shooting, and drove the Polaris til it ran out of gas!
A perfect weekend & jump start to a busy week.
