The day began with a doubles tennis match. Our hostess, Vivian, was gracious to trust me as her partner. I have not been consistent with my tennis practice in months! Lucky for her, my game was on and we played well as partners.
We met the guys for lunch at The White Duck Taco Shop in the River  Arts District where Robert ordered a steak taco and I chose the fish taco. We agreed the basket of food was delicious. We sat at an outdoor picnic table shaded by a big umbrella.  After lunch we strolled the art district visiting numerous walk in galleries. No air conditioning needed! We chatted with several artists as they carried out their creative work. All I could think is how perfect this would be  for floral design work.
One artist who repurposes pieces of tape for his artwork informed us that his goal this year is to sell 3 pieces a week, after that he treats himself with a relaxing microbrew. Â Hmmm, three pieces a week calculated to about 2,500 to 3 grand based on prices of work on display. Not too shabby.
Back to the condo to clean up! ML
