What Makes the Rose Unfold?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We sang ‘Here is Our King’ by David Crowder at 5:30 Mass tonight. There is a line within the song “And what was said to the rose to make it unfold was said to me here in my chest” .

That line stuck in my head tonight so I came home to Google it, of course. The line in Crowder’s song was taken from “What Was Said to the Rose” by Rumi.

It is a beautiful poem about our King.
