You can take the girl out of the city, but you can’t take the city out of the girl!
It’s true, your zinnias, sunflowers, and cosmos are delightful to look at in the garden,
but when you bring them inside are you seeing “country”?
Put those Mason jars aside for a bit & add a bit of glam to your homegrown bouquets.
Here are a few tips:
- Container– use your silver urns, julep cups, crystal vases you have stashed away for special occasions
- Monochromatic flowers– similar color tones- harvest the salmons, pinks, cremes- this creates a focus, making your arrangement not too busy
- Filler– try Magnolia leaves and the flower/seed pods to add a “Southern” look, not hillbilly
These are a few tips that will definitely bring out the Zsa Zsa (or is it Eva?) in your home grown bouquets.
