The Garden Tour is over, weeds are sprouting,
bluebirds nesting, and tomatoes are ripening.
Put “Eagle Pass” okra seeds in yesterday from Baker
Creek. You must order the catalog just for pix.
Pansies up yesterday and lovely coral pink petunias
in. Will be getting the “Farm Garden” ready for
pumpkins next week. Ordered more Llama Beans
for tea which will fertilize the pumps this year.
Here is an update on what is growing at home:
Lasagna Bed. This is the way
to do it. Hardly ever have to water as it holds moisture the
BEST.
Square Foot Beds 1 &2 growing
nicely. Vertical crops in back will need trellising probably
after the weekend Highs in 80’s.
Radish, Romaine(Jericho), Beets.
Arugula and Chard doing nicely and all GREAT in salads…
The light purple is an old fashioned
Phlox from my friend, Barbara Botts’ garden. She died last week
and this is the most prolific bloom I’ve had!
Posting more frequently…
Blessings from the Garden
