Peach tree blossoms
It may as well be spring here. New life is bursting from the fuzzy pods of Magnolia liliflora or Tulip Magnolia. Forsythia is exploding with its fiery yellow blooms on our historic curbsides. Lovely quince is already in full bloom. These are the crowning signs of the birth of spring. Hope swells with these signals of a new season. My energy level is picking up as if I am coming out of hibernation. Â Keep your clippers in the car during this magnificent time. I clip the fuzzy pods and blooms for indoor happiness–one never knows when an opportunity will present!
