Augusta is blooming with the colors of Camellias. This season keeps me alive and yearning for spring. I designed 10 table centerpieces for today’s Symphony Guild meeting based on inspiration from Sweet W Style. This inspiration design is a Valentine one, but I wanted to take advantage of all the magnificent color happening in Augusta.
Instead of breaking the bank with garden roses(which tend to fizzle), and tons of ranunculus, I chose lovely Camellias-sasanquas, japonicas, and reticulatas–in full bloom and free! I cut from my yard and that of Facebook friend, Gail.
The camellias are the “little black dress”. I spent just a bit on roses, ranunculus and ruscus which are the eye catching accessories.
Packed up and ready for transport!
Happy Day!
