Christmassing Your Garden Urns Inside and Out

The front porch is an important focus for Christmas decorating. Yes, you must have the traditional wreath or basket on the front door. Experiment this year with the unexpected- dried grasses, seeded eucalyptus, berries, evergreens to add spice to your Christmas porch! I like this one because it’s one of a kind.

Add some dimension to your porch or patio by Christmassing your garden urns, too.

Adding a bit of Christmas to your front porch urns or containers will zest it up and add that next level of festiveness.  Here is a large urn in which you could use a top out of an evergreen or a small table top tree,  Add a combination of mixed greenery such as white pine,  Leyland cypress, cryptomeria and pinecones! You can purchase bunches of berries at the grocery store but you could substitute holly berries or nandina berries from the backyard FREE. Just know that the birds and, perhaps, the squirrels will want to snack.

This container is filled with Christmas greenery, cones, magnolia, boxwood, birdy baubles and sticks…also has a tasteful addition of golden green mesh fluffed beneath and trailing.

The beauty above is a great twist on the traditional tree.  A table top tree in a sizable garden urn is a unique addition to any room.
