Just when I was beginning to feel like we would never finish this project– the ball begins to roll! Â Have to keep the kitchen renovation momentum going!
David the cabinet guy stopped by to deliver 5 selections of cabinet fronts for us to choose two styles from. The perimeter cabinets will be one style and the second island will have a slightly different cabinet front and paint color. David left these along with paint samples in Benjamin  Moore’s  ‘Revere Pewter’, ‘Cloud Cover’  and  ‘Pacific Sea’ for us to approve.
I love the winter gold sphere to the left. Great price and simple. Two of these will dangle above the first island. These came from Bellacor online.
Second person to add to my excitement today was Jerry Tice from Summerville Interiors. The moment he walked in the door during his initial visit, I knew I would be in good hands. He came in today with bags of sample books, my  iridescent glass backsplash sample and paint ideas ready to go!
I knew immediately this fabric would need to be in our front sitting room.
This Arundel Peacock fabric blew me away! It has absolutely every single color I love and the colors in my inspiration painting. We decided to turn the fabric into lovely panels which will be in the front sitting room to flank the antique secretary and compliment the white swivel Eton chairs.
Here is the inspiration painting for our remodel project painted by talented artist buddy Mary Louise Nechtman.
I will keep the kitchen renovation momentum going with daily check ins with our contractor, Tom Almeter. Today the guys will begin working on finishing out the pantry.
Will report.
