One of my children is messier than the other. She will probably kill me when she reads this, but I don’t think she will(read it.). The word messy is not a bad one, though. I interpret “messiness” as creative or tousled like Mick Jagger’s hair or an abstract painting.
Actually, I’ve been granted permission to be messy by Martha. I picked up the February 2012 issue of Martha Stewart Living today, and was mesmerized by the article on The Little Flower School entitled “Petal Pushers”.
Here is the paragraph giving us permission to be messy.
“Both designers are on a mission to break flower arrangers away from the tight, symmetrical dome-shaped bouquets that have been so trendy for the past decade or so. Little Flower School has one gospel: Flowers should show their natural gestures- and maybe even appear a little messy!”
MLCHgarden is sort of like Little Flower School or at least we are headed that way! Wouldn’t you like to arrange a special bouquet for Mother’s Day this year? What a great gift to yourself or from someone. Watch www.marylouisehagler.com for Workshops, Events & Freebies to add more to the schedule!
WAHOO! Thanks LFS!
Off to get messy!
