Whew. Â Here is a wrap up of what has been going on and what is to come!
NEWS FLASH
FlowerCamp was one of the BEST ever. We had about 42 ladies (and one dude) visit Hagler Farms the first weekend in September for FlowerCamp 2013! The theme throughout the weekend was “Open Your Eyes”! Â The Sunday afternoon class pictured here was adorable as were our Friday and Saturday ladies!! Oh, and Robert wanted to be part of the group, too–sporting his hot pink FC tee!
There is beauty everywhere, sometimes we just need to take a moment to see it! Â Our campers learned a grid technique to help keep stems upright in vases. We also learned how to incorporate a bit of whimsy into ho-hum grocery store arrangements!
The Moore/Drake wedding was absolutely beautiful! We were flattered to be a part of the festivities and really enjoyed playing with cotton boutonnieres and Southern inspired tablescaping!
I am headed to a Garden Bloggers conference this Sunday. So excited. Gathering ideas that will send me on the way to being a top Garden Blogger. Will meet the “big names” in garden blogs–Amy Stewart (author of The Drunken Botanist, Wicked Plants, Flower Confidential). Amy is a co-blogger on Garden Rant.  Robin Horton, Urban Gardens blogger whom I met in Dallas about 3 years ago. Teresa O’Connor, Seasonal Wisdom, will be there too! Follow along as I report on the conference in Atlanta!
Well, off to pack–charging up the cameras, computers and phone!!
see you
