We’ve been out of town, but on my way home I jotted this week’s menu. Today was shopping day. This pre-planning will definitely cut down on the stress of trying to figure out what’s for supper!
Sunday: Â Pan cooked Halibut, squash, steak for the non fish eater, and couscous.
Monday: Â Spaghetti, salad, french bread
Tuesday: Â Pork chops, cabbage, sweet potatoes
Wednesday: Â Burgers, onions, peppers, gumbo & fresh fruit
Thursday:  Chicken parmigiana, green beans, salad, sorbet
Friday: Â out
Saturday: Â Crock pot…any suggestions?
Sunday: Anniversary Family Supper
see you.

I’m not a fan of the crockpot, but I do use it to keep soups warm. And I do use it when I host a “soup kitchen” … a soup and salad dinner in which I prepare 4-5 different soups and set them in crockpots at different stations. Each station has a crockpot full of soup, bowls, and the accompaniments that complement the soup (saltine crackers with chili; cornbread muffins with stew, etc.). It’s an easy way to entertain, and the crockpots keep everything at perfect temps.

I like that idea, Maria. Possibly for supper club…thank you!
