See that Patty Pan squash in my arms? The ruffly round thing. That is such a odd veggie to me. Seeing it on the vine all round, Â flattish and ruffly evokes pure curiosity.
We pulled lots of weeds.
Trimmed the basil plants in the raised herb garden. They are flowering, so it’s time to snip off those flowers (stick them in a vase!) so the basil can continue to grow and the kitchen procure the full flavor of the herbs.
The corn stalks are producing, and the beds needed weeding.
Archie showed up armed and ready with the power source behind him!
We are working on a routine gardening schedule, and would love for anyone who wants the hands-on experience or therapy (my word) to let me know.

If you or a group would like to take over a raised bed or two…that would be heavenly.

The beds look great, just showed Christian the bounty of his Eagle Project. Wish I was still there to help with the work.

Cherie. Thank you so much for all your encouragement and support! Yes,Christian should be proud to have had a hand in this project. I couldn’t believe how much produce was in the garden yesterday! That patty pan squash really lit me up!
See you!
