Every year I am amazed at how early some garden centers begin selling tomato plants! What is more intriguing is that we buy them AND IT IS TOO EARLY! This year is no different. I was so tempted today, but my mission was for houseplants only.
A few weeks ago, however, I did buy a small seed starting kit and some tomato seeds. The phenomenon of tomato growing is fascinating. Not only watching life unfold from that tiny seed, but the first tomato- and that first sandwich!
That’s it! We are so eager to taste the freshness and homegrown-ness of that first tomato, one could not be ashamed of setting that seedling out in February!
Hopefully, I will figure out how to upload my pics to Ipad soon. Meanwhile I await a new hard drive.
