We kicked off the 6th year of Wreath Workshop with Legacy Garden Club, a sassy group of talented young wreath makers. Interestingly, they were eager to get started since carpool pick up would be 12:30pm. And guess what?! They did it. Fabulous, full and fluffy take home wreaths.
Day 2 of Wreath Workshop finds my Asheville, NC friends eager to learn the art of wreath making! Callie, pictured right, is a seasoned baker. She brought a tin of the most delicious cookies I’ve ever eaten. Ever. Just the right combination of shortbread cookie with sweet icing on top. The tin was filled with 3 layers of delights. We are already down to the bottom layer of cookies!
Jan and Ruth celebrate their 3rd year of Wreath Workshop today, and Kathy is eager to sign on for the next workshop in 2014 after her first go at Wreath Workshop.
Each wreath reflects the personality of the maker. Some are organized and symmetrical, while others “messy”. I use the words “artistic and wild”. Whatever the personality, the wreaths are unique and eye catching.
A great day.
